Kimberley French photographed BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, working with director Ang Lee on the love story between two shepherds. Her images show intimate moments on the mountain and the weight of secret lives lived across 20 years. From sweeping Western landscapes to emotional close-ups, her photos supported awards campaigns and the film's lasting cultural impact. Kimberley became good friends with Heath Ledger during the shoot, and her photograph of Heath and Jake Gyllenhaal was selected for the iconic Brokeback Mountain poster.
